Frequently Asked Questions
To access the Share Your Story’s courses you will need to purchase one of our paid courses or register for a free course. Once registered, please log-in to the Share Your Story’s account using your username and password. From here you can select ‘My Account’ at the top of the page (in the main menu) and then ‘My Courses’ to see your learning options. Once in the course, you can navigate through it using the menu on the left-hand sidebar or the ‘Continue’ and ‘Previous Lesson’ buttons on each page.
The Learning Management System automatically saves your progress for you. You can log off or close the window at anytime during your course.
Each person requires their own account and unique username and password to access the courses available in the Share Your Story’s Course Library. If you would like to arrange for a team or group registration, please contact us to discuss your learning needs.
To update/change your account details please ensure you are logged into your account. After this, you can make changes by selecting ‘My Account’ at the top of the page (in the main menu), and then ‘My Profile’. Please remember to click the ‘Update’ button to save your changes.
Please click on ‘Lost your password?’ on the login page and you will be prompted to enter your username. A link to reset your password will be emailed to your registered email address.
When you enrol in a course with the Share Your Story, your personal information is collected for our records management purposes. Your collected details and course progress can also be accessed by administrators to produce reports.
Share Your Story does not use cookies to collect personal information.
The provision of information to us is voluntary, meaning there is no law requiring you to provide personal information to us.
Under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act), you have the right to access your personal information held by us without excessive delay or expense. You also have the right to have your personal information corrected in certain circumstances, for example if it’s inaccurate, by making a written request to us by:
